TEP recently launched two education abroad programs  that are ideal for students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. 
Service-Learning in Belize and Sustainable Economic and Community Development in Belize. 
These programs are an excellent match for faculty, administrators, and education abroad advisors who are interested in expanding experiential learning opportunities abroad for their students. Students may directly enroll.

New Education Abroad Program

Are you a student or a recent graduate looking for opportunities to integrate your academic training with meaningful community service abroad? TEP’s  Service Learning in Belize is the perfect fit if you are passionate about international service-learning in the developing world.

What to expect
You will work with a community partner to provide a service or implement a project that address a need in the organization while honing your skills, advancing your appreciation of social responsibility, global awareness,  and diversity.

Sustainable Economic & Community Development in Belize
New Education Abroad Program 

This incredible new summer study abroad program is perfect if you are a student looking for experiential learning in the field of the economics of developing countries focused on hands on community development. 

What to expect
An intensive Economics course that looks at the nexus of community economic development and sustainable economic development. 

You will learn about the challenges faced by small rural communities and the interaction of community development with key development objectives of investing in human resources and the alleviation of poverty.

The course integrates concepts of economic development with community driven projects that provide you with real-world experience while problem solving within communities.

Program Terms:
Summer Session  I - May 25 - June 09, 2018
Summer Session II -June 15 - 30, 2018
